Join our team: we are hiring a core maker in Sawyer County, Wisconsin. You will work at an aluminium die-casting plant. On the job you will handle: • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity What we are looking for: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
