Join our team: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Ford County, Illinois. Your main tasks: • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle What we are looking for: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances We offer $5,200 per month plus benefits.
