Join our team: we are hiring a kitchen cook in San Mateo County, California. You will be based at a fast-food outlet. Day to day you will marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases; prepare the mise en place before each service; monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks; manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs; prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch. You should have: • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate Meals and transport allowance provided.
