Single needle operator — Dickinson County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a single needle operator in Dickinson County, Michigan. Your main tasks: • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance Ideal candidate: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines Full-time, day shift.
