We are recruiting: argon welder (Kentucky)

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welder in Mason County, Kentucky. On the job you will handle: • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run Requirements: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
