Great opportunity: we are hiring a hand presser in Oldham County, Texas. Requirements: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep The role involves use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; give each garment a final press before packing; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
