Immediate opening: we are hiring a stitching operator in Sir Powys, Wales. Ideal candidate: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens On a typical shift you will meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line. 4+ years on the tools preferred. £12 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
