Catering cook — Sharkey County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a catering cook in Sharkey County, Mississippi. You will be based at a busy restaurant kitchen. What we are looking for: • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards Day to day you will prepare the mise en place before each service; monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks; knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha; check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down; taste and adjust seasoning for consistency.
