Immediate opening: gang bricklayer (Kansas)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Doniphan County, Kansas. The role involves installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb. You should have: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day 1+ years on the tools preferred. $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
