Fusing press operator — Safana

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Safana, Katsina State. You should have: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings On the job you will handle: • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents Full-time with occasional weekends.
