Core maker wanted in Hamilton County

Join our team: we are hiring a core maker in Hamilton County, Florida. You will be based at a brass and bronze foundry. Requirements: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Day-to-day duties: • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
