Power float operator — Logan County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a power float operator in Logan County, Ohio. You will work on a building construction site. You will lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish. You should have: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods Full-time, day shift.
