Immediate opening: flatlock machine operator (Rivers State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Ahoada West, Rivers State. You will be based at a knitwear stitching unit. Your main tasks: • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line What we are looking for: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
