Immediate opening: we are hiring a CNC machine operator in Lafayette County, Florida. The job is at an auto-parts workshop. You should have: • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts The role involves: • Load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift 2+ years on the tools preferred.
