Now hiring: we are hiring a joiner in Maiduguri, Borno State. What we are looking for: • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers Your main tasks: • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions Part-time with flexible hours. Pay around ₦225,000 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
