Track-type tractor operator — Knott County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a track-type tractor operator in Knott County, Kentucky. Day-to-day duties: • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear You should have: • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
