Lathe programmer-operator — Jackson County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Jackson County, Alabama. You will be based on the CNC turning shop floor. Day to day you will run first-off inspection and sign off the part; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; write and edit G-code programs at the control. Ideal candidate: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm 1+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts.
