Backhoe loader operator • Shackelford County, Texas

Great opportunity: we are hiring a backhoe loader operator in Shackelford County, Texas. The job is in an open-cast mine. Day-to-day duties: • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension What we are looking for: • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $4,800 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
