Formwork joiner — Potter County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a formwork joiner in Potter County, Pennsylvania. You will seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure. You should have: • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Able to read formwork and structural drawings Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
