Great opportunity: we are hiring a solid plasterer in Grant County, Oregon. The job is on a busy domestic building site. Requirements: • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline • CSCS card or willing to obtain one On a typical shift you will patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster; set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work; mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency; dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming; check walls for plumb and level as you go; apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls.
