Lift erector — Scott County

Now hiring: we are hiring a lift erector in Scott County, Mississippi. The role involves measure rope tension and check for broken strands; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; run load and overload tests with test weights; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
