Single needle operator — Lamar County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a single needle operator in Lamar County, Texas. You will work on a ready-made garment production line. Requirements: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus On the job you will handle: • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers Pay around $4,700 per month, based on your experience.
