Shakeout operator — Cheshire County

Join our team: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Cheshire County, New Hampshire. The job is on the moulding line. On a typical shift you will assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles. What we are looking for: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
