Immediate opening: we are hiring a rebar worker in Milam County, Texas. The job is on a busy residential building site. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates The role involves: • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman Six days a week, one day off.
