Moulder — Miami-Dade County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a moulder in Miami-Dade County, Florida. You will work at a busy iron foundry. Day to day you will inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale. What we are looking for: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
