Powder coating technician — Blair County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a powder coating technician in Blair County, Pennsylvania. You will be based at an automotive components factory. The role involves keep parts properly earthed so the powder transfers well; top up and monitor pre-treatment chemical bath concentrations; pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks; reclaim and sieve overspray powder for reuse; cure coated parts in the curing oven at set temperature and time; check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process 3+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $3,400 per month, based on your experience.
