Horizontal milling machine operator — Marion County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Marion County, Iowa. You will work at an automotive components factory. You will read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe. Ideal candidate: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T 5+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $140 per day, based on your experience. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
