Foundry labourer • Lawrence County, Tennessee

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Lawrence County, Tennessee. On a typical shift you will fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
