Slinger signaller — Mason County

Now hiring: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Mason County, Texas. The role involves: • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear 6+ years on the tools preferred.
