Immediate opening: crawler crane operator (Wales)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a crawler crane operator in Merthyr Tydfil County Borough, Wales. The job is in a steel fabrication workshop. Ideal candidate: • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Strong attention to safety and load limits Day-to-day duties: • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
