UPVC welding machine operator • Butler County, Kansas

Great opportunity: we are hiring an uPVC welding machine operator in Butler County, Kansas. The job is at a busy uPVC fabrication workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it • Fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails Requirements: • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres 4+ years on the tools preferred. $31 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
