Join our team: flatlock machine operator (England)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Northumberland, England. The role involves: • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line What we are looking for: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
