Furnace operator — Navajo County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a furnace operator in Navajo County, Arizona. You should have: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry Your main tasks: • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
