Immediate opening: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Somerset County, Maryland. The role involves: • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions Ideal candidate: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Rotating shifts. We offer $3,700 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
