Powder coating operator • Knox County, Kentucky

Vacancy available: we are hiring a powder coating operator in Knox County, Kentucky. You will work at a fabrication and coating plant. Ideal candidate: • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes • Able to operate electrostatic spray guns and curing ovens • Aware of PPE, respirator and fire-safety norms Your main tasks: • Top up and monitor pre-treatment chemical bath concentrations • Inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches • Hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage • Apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
