Dispatch rider — Howard County

Now hiring: we are hiring a dispatch rider in Howard County, Maryland. Ideal candidate: • Good knowledge of local roads, lanes and shortcuts • Basic reading and number skills to handle addresses and cash The role involves: • Carry food orders in an insulated thermal box to keep meals hot • Sort failed deliveries and arrange a re-attempt or return to the hub • Check tyre pressure, brakes, chain tension and engine oil before riding out • Capture proof of delivery with a customer signature or photo on the handset • Collect cash-on-delivery (COD) payments and reconcile the float at shift end • Scan the barcode on every consignment before pick-up and after drop-off Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
