Shuttering charge hand — King William County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a shuttering charge hand in King William County, Virginia. The job is at an infrastructure construction site. Requirements: • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules The role involves watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line; repair damaged plywood and timber shutters; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints. At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
