System formwork carpenter — Santa Clara County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a system formwork carpenter in Santa Clara County, California. On the job you will handle: • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN) Ideal candidate: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Able to read formwork and structural drawings Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
