Vacancy available: we are hiring a lathe operator in Malheur County, Oregon. You will be based at a busy manufacturing plant. Day-to-day duties: • Load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper • Follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet Ideal candidate: • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $3,100 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
