Hand presser — Bladen County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a hand presser in Bladen County, North Carolina. You will be based in a garment export house. The role involves give each garment a final press before packing; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $240 per day, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
