Great opportunity: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Webster County, Iowa. Ideal candidate: • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Understanding of safe digging near underground services On the job you will handle: • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
