Immediate opening: we are hiring a butcher in Umuahia South, Abia State. On a typical shift you will stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights. You should have: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • 2+ years experience working as a butcher At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
