Dogger — Rano

Great opportunity: we are hiring a dogger in Rano, Kano State. The job is at a shipyard. You should have: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather On the job you will handle: • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
