Furniture maker — Clinton County

Now hiring: we are hiring a furniture maker in Clinton County, New York. You will be based in a bespoke joinery workshop. On a typical shift you will plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions; hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles; lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring; read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists. What we are looking for: • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Own basic hand tools $150 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
