Furnace operator wanted in Natrona County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a furnace operator in Natrona County, Wyoming. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings On the job you will handle: • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
