Kitchen cook • Toto, Nasarawa State

We are recruiting: we are hiring a kitchen cook in Toto, Nasarawa State. You will be based in a hospital or office canteen. What we are looking for: • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays The role involves check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO; marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases; knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha; prepare the mise en place before each service; check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down; prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
