Head butcher • Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni, Rivers State

Great opportunity: we are hiring a head butcher in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni, Rivers State. You should have: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling Day-to-day duties: • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking 2+ years on the tools preferred.
