Rebar fixer — Chittenden County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Chittenden County, Vermont. You will work at a rebar fabrication workshop. The role involves: • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift What we are looking for: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
