Sample machinist wanted in Edgefield County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sample machinist in Edgefield County, South Carolina. You will work on an export house sewing floor. What we are looking for: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance Day-to-day duties: • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. We offer $150 per day plus benefits. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
