Shuttering carpenter — Benzie County

Join our team: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Benzie County, Michigan. You will work in a bespoke joinery workshop. What we are looking for: • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • Own basic hand tools The role involves plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles; build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain. Pay around $31 per hour, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
